Custom Raised Garden Beds by Holly Days Nursery & Landscaping Holly Days is the arts and crafts of the nursery and landscaping world we make your outdoor space turn from a stiff cardboard cutout into a lively, usable landscape. The following "Customized Raised Garden Beds" is an example of our dedication to quality and client satisfaction. We created this for clients in the suburbs serving multiple communities from Ambler to Wyncote. The consisted of designing and installing several raised garden beds out of sustainably sourced cedar wood as it lasts significantly longer and is resistant to rot. Designed in different heights at varying lengths, each bed is custom-modified to create a staggered look in the landscape. Adding a drip irrigation system, irrigation was efficient and plants grew well. I knew that one of the things we would have to contend with was the poor, contorted soil conditions in the area which may have inhibited the growth of such plants. The soil was high in clay and acidity which was leached, to counteract this our genial team professionally amended it with organic compost increasing its nutrient profile and synergy helping to create a home for the vegetables and herbs the clients wanted to grow. And the finished product, bright and bold gardenbeds full of vegetation and beds of vegetables and flowers alike. Their clients were thrilled to see their once-static yard transformed into an active, productive space, that added beauty and fresh produce for the household.
