Vande Hey Company, Inc. takes great pride in the 'Athletics' turf landscaping , a revitalization aimed at enhancing the outdoor experience for a local sports complex. This serves the communities of Appleton, Black Creek, Combined Locks, Dale, Freedom, Grand Chute, Greenville, Hortonville, Kaukauna, Kimberly, Little Chute, Menasha, and Shiocton. We are truly committed to quality and innovation in this . The Athletics utilizes a thoughtfully designed combination of colorful flower beds, durable turf areas, and solid pathways that can endure heavy foot traffic, while providing a welcoming atmosphere for athletes and spectators alike. We used high quality native plants that will thrive in the regional climate, add biodiversity and require less maintenance. One of the biggest hurdles we faced was the existing site topography that required engineering a grading plan and drainage solutions for water management and erosion. Our skilled team successfully employed contemporary design approaches to create a level surface, with permeable paver integration for rainwater absorption to reduce runoff. The end differentiation is an amazing landscape that engages with the existing conditions and meets practical needs. The luxuriant green areas draw you to rest, while strategically placed benches and shade structures create comfortable areas for families and friends enjoy the game. The bold colors of the flower beds not only augment the aesthetic experience, but also augment the common background and experience of various athletic performance. The client was really happy overall and appreciated the seamless combination of functionality and beauty that facilitates your local friends and neighbors to engage with each other while living an active lifestyle.
