Del Sur Spanish Mediterranean Juniper Landscape Company turns heads at development s all across the country, and 'Del Sur Spanish Mediterranean' might be one of their finest transformations yet, located in the centers of San Diego landscape at the charm of simply that a heart. Our work involved encapsulating the essence of spanish med style: timeless design working with form and function to create an entry way to escape outdoors. Our included custom pathways made from natural stone pavers that were designed to flow through lush, water conserving gardens. Using a palette of native plants, from showy bougainvillea to scented lavender, we created a low maintenance landscape that attracts local biodiversity. The use of terracotta pots populated with bright-coloured succulents also gave a simple vibrancy and warmth, capturing the Mediterranean spirit. Site topography was also difficult to deal with, and needed grading and drainage in order to prevent the water from pooling and to allow roots to flourish. The installation of a robust drainage system effectively overcame this challenge and will preserve the integrity of the landscape for years to come. We also added an incredible custom-built outdoor room with a rustic wood pergola ideal for unwinding or entertaining. The area had a built-in barbecue and a private seating arrangement for enjoying evening gatherings when the stars came out. Soft ambient lighting scattered all over the garden area, enhances the evening magical mood of the garden. The outcome was far beyond what our client thought possible, yielding them a stunning outdoor oasis that perfectly balances aesthetics and utility.
