Vakaviti by Ripley Design Group Ripley Design Group is excited to introduce the dramatic 'Vakaviti' landscaping , which took shape in Danville, right smack in the middle of East Bay, for an astute client, capturing the meaning of luxurious outdoor living whilst embracing the site's natural aesthetic. The design elements of 'Vakaviti' include a harmonious integration of locally sourced plants with rich tropical ornamental plants forming a tropical escape awash in color. The durable and high-quality materials, such as natural stone walkways and reclaimed hardwood decking, serve to enhance the design whilst encouraging longevity. Significantly, the design dealt with the uncommon slope of the site and required some creative grading to create functional spaces that flow comfortably into one another. A conscientious approach was taken by our team with a series of gardens that incorporated the elevation changes and plant palette by balancing and positioning the retaining walls to allow for a fluid experience outdoors. The crowning feature of 'Vakaviti' is the beautiful water element, carefully crafted to deliver the sounds of a welcoming seaside retreat through the constructed pond and waterfalls, which provide an ever-changing, sensory focal point that now holds the client's attention in the outdoor space. The finished result reveals an outdoor room with a complete kitchen and a pet-friendly patio, designed for entertaining friends and families. The polluted outdoor furniture in the area, as well as the fire pit create an inviting and cozy space, ideal for gatherings. From the client's perspective, they received incredible value in the finished product'Vakaviti' is an oasis that allows for lifestyle enhancement and an enjoyable blend of architectural beauty and function.
