Pawleys Island 1 by TruDesign Studio TruDesign Studio is pleased to introduce the 'Pawleys Island 1' landscaping , where a dramatic transformation has taken place at the heart of Pawleys Island, in the foreground of an unassuming and quaint rental house. This undertaking showcases an ongoing commitment to our quality and creative operations that is prevalent in our work throughout the Grand Strand area, including Garden City, Myrtle Beach and Surfside Beach. The began with a rigorous site analysis, during which we identified many unique challenges including uneven grade, limited sunlight exposure in areas, and poor soil quality. Our team collaborated to create a thoughtful design that balanced the coastal environment with the property’s natural beauty. Our planting plan included a mix of native species such as brightly colored sea oats and hardy palmettos to diversify ecological sustainability, while still showing interest and lushness in foliage. Additionally, we designed a custom patio from locally sourced flagstone that provided visual interest as well as practicality, leveraging an area that was too uneven for grass. The use of retaining permeable pavers for the paths between patio and property line introduced drainage, while also showing a contemporary style. A feature that became a central emphasis was a water feature designed to yield sounds to amplify the serene aesthetic, while also attracting wildlife. Hearing the cascading water turned the outdoor living space into a peaceful retreat from every day, for dinner parties, The sounds from the fountain created relaxation for intimate gatherings. Overall, our dedicated team overcame challenges such as poor soil and weather during the . Our commitment to positive solutions to these obstacles did not allow our craftsmanship to be compromised, and we were able to deliver an outdoor oasis that exceeded the client’s expectations - a place where elegance and practicality coexist. The 'Pawleys Island 1' is a reflection of TruDesign Studio's craftsmanship and an example of why we are passionate creating landscapes that create a purpose and no matter the elements are timeless. The client is now able to enjoy a beautifully landscaped environment that enhances their lifestyle, and truly embody the natural beauty of coastal living that is evident in the stunning Pawleys Island area.
