Yarrow Point Residence This landscaping of Yarrow Point Residence is done by Berger Partnership which portrays the excellent design and high-intensity work. Set in the temperate climate of the Pacific Northwest, the imagines a private home enhanced by a surrounding wilderness gardenpart scenic landscape, part operational resource. The landscaping encompasses a harmonious blend of native species, including colorful rhododendrons, graceful ferns, and resilient shrubs, chosen for their climate adaptability and contribution to the scenic beauty of the region. Berger Partnership included seasonal flowers to make a more dynamic landscape that has interest throughout the year. One of the highlights is a sizeable outdoor living area with a custom stone patio constructed with locally sourced basalt. Not only does this durable material brighten the entry and complement the architectural style of the home, but also stands up to the elements and provides a comfortable spot for family gatherings and outdoor entertaining. A fire pit with a circle of seating is both functional and inviting, allowing the space to be utilized long into the night. We fought against one of the largest hurdles this property presented, its slope! Tiered garden beds that serve both visual and functional purpose (i.e., drainage) were a deft solution by Berger Partnership. Having this new method actually not only beautified natural process of landscape but also promote plant growing and maintain soil structure. The end result is a striking landscape that satisfies the client and fits naturally into the surrounding environment. Now calm is heard with the gentle sound provided by a new water feature recently added bringing the space alive to complement the vast biodiversity embraced within the garden. Every detail, from the plant choice to the materials, is a testament to the quality of landscape made possible through Berger Partnership, and we are honored to see the Yarrow Point Residence as a timeless outdoor retreat for its homeowners for years to come.
