Bocce Courts by Southwest Greens of Florida At Southwest Greens of Florida, we take all outdoor spaces and turn them into additional recreational areas. Our Bocce Courts is a great example of how we embrace excellence and detail in our work. Features two beautifully crafted bocce courts on a campus in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, the Bocce Courts provides both beauty and playability. The courts were constructed with crushed oyster shell material for a quality, playable surface that holds up year-round. The surrounding landscape includes native Florida planting and ornamental grasses for a beautiful aesthetic and to enhance local biodiversity. Sourcing materials and plants for the bocce court demonstrates, again, our approach to sustainable landscape practices. Another unique challenging aspect of this was the site was not level. Our team was able to provide temporary grading and leveling to the existing site to provide drainage and for a playable finish grade. In addition, we installled lighting to allow for evening play, thus enhancing the client experience with theirs and guests. The end product was an attractive outdoor entertaining space, exceeding expectations. The bocce courts became the focal point for family and friends of the client, allowing for a fun and leisurely task.
