New Landscape Design, Front and Backyard Pathways, Landscape Lighting Platinum Ponds & Landscaping has recently concluded an incredible landscape design , optimizing both the front and backyard of a home in the middle of Grand Rapids. This reflects our commitment to quality craftsmanship, design innovation, and customer satisfaction while servicing the surrounding communities including Ada, Alto, Byron Center, and beyond. The began with an in-depth consultation discussing the client's vision and needs. We designed a custom pathway system utilizing durable natural stone pavers that effortlessly matched the established landscaping. Not only do the pathways provide functional access, but also direct the eye through natural gardens of native plants and blooming selections relating to seasonal change, ensuring vibrant added color all year long. One of the main obstacles for this design was the sloping topography of the backyard, which required a detailed plan and grading. Our team carefully constructed terraced levels, allowing greater accessibility as well as additional usable space for outdoor gathering, complete with a fire pit area with seating made from reclaimed wood for added effect. To display the beauty of the landscaping and help extend usability into the evening, we changed our plan and installed various landscape lighting. To try to keep the plan as sustainable as possible, we used energy efficient LED lighting. After illuminating the path system, our patrons enjoyed the personification of the flora but are also provided a nice source of safety and security around their home and walks. The resulting effect truly transformed the outdoor space into another great area at night that could be enjoyed by a leisurely stroll or a nice evening sit, expressed repeatedly by the client and their guests. In summary, the end result was a beautiful combination of aesthetics, craftsmanship, styled pathways that invited exploration, and addition of lighting that created an entirely new experience when daylight was no longer present. The overall client experience was delightful, and they expressed their amazement regarding using the old and new aspects of replacement into the existing landscape.
