Installation of a Backyard Patio - Kalamazoo, MI Platinum Ponds & Landscaping has completed a beautiful installation of a backyard patio in Kalamazoo, Michigan, which converted an undeveloped outdoor space into a fantastic get-away area for comfort and entertainment purposes. We are proud to serve the greater Kalamazoo area, which also includes communities from Ada to Wyoming, with quality and craftsmanship. This featured a beautiful 600 square-foot patio built from high-quality pavers. We chose these pavers for their durability and aesthetic, and they were chosen with a mix of earthy colors that transitioned well into the surrounding areas. A custom fire pit was engineered for the middle of the patio with seating around the firepit for friends and family to sit and relax to gather in for evenings under the stars. The did involve some property obstacles, particularly the unlevel ground and water drainage. Our professional team had the knowledge and experience to level the property and utilize the proper draining techniques with quality materials to avoid the settling and erosion process in the future. Lastly, the addition of low-maintenance, eco-friendly, native plants around the patio area was purposeful not just for aesthetics, but also the required water and time limitations for maintenance. The outcome was an aesthetic outdoor living area that exceeded the client's expectations, creating a functional gathering space for family and friends to enjoy. After taking the time to plan each the for functionality and detail, our staff created a space that fits well with nature creating the perfect backdrop for lasting memories.
