Winchester, MA - Full Landscape Design Sallie Hill Design, Landscape Architect, is pleased to showcase the "Winchester, MA - Full Landscape Design", which redefined the outdoor living experience for a valued client. This is located in the lovely suburb of Winchester and marries the beauty of the outdoors with a contemporary appeal that meets our client's top-notch needs, as well as enhances the charm of their home. The landscape design is extensive, boasting a well-designed layout with native plantings, hardscapes that encourage flow, and well-researched outdoor spaces meant to be used and enjoyed. Drought-resistant plants such as ornamental grasses and perennial flowers were meticulously chosen to create a garden with ostentatious splendor that is also low maintenance. Local stone was incorporated for the pathways and retaining walls which highlights the beauty of the landscape without heavy weight, and also durability! We creatively problem-solved to ensure our design worked well with the sloped yard, which we managed with artistic tiered garden beds that provide interest and continuity while mitigating soil erosion. Our design also called for a custom built patio area with seating and a fire pit which transformed the back yard to a peaceful oasis, and provides opportunities for outdoor entertainment, while soaking in the starry skies! The result is an entirely cohesive landscape that embraces our client's vision that represents top quality in craftsmanship. Our client was extremely pleased and stated that it meets their family’s needs for functionality while marrying beauty! I have little doubt that the design is the pride of their home.
