Greek Hand Thrown Terracotta Pottery Eye of the Day Eye of the Day announced the completion of the "Greek Hand Thrown Terracotta Pottery" , here in Southern California, an example of our handcrafted artisan work and landscaping artistry. Located in the beautiful coastal cities of Aliso Viejo, Dana Point, Laguna Beach, Laguna Hills, Laguna Nigel, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, San Clemente and San Juan Capistrano, this took a Mediterranean design approach to an outdoor oasis for a client. At the heart of the were beautiful handmade terracotta pots that were imported straight from Greek artisans. There was a pot selected based on its identity, vibrancy, and feeling for craft that seemed to naturally fit with the natural beauty of its surroundings. These pots were included in a carefully selected arrangement by our team, providing functional places for beautiful plants whilst looking visually appealing in the garden. It was not a trouble-free process. We walked on rugged terrains and through different soils to the ensure the terracotta pieces were well drained and stable. We also had to find a balance that integrated the pottery with the existing landscape, native plants, and contributed to existing trees to provide an overall visually appealing harmony. By employing innovative design solutions and careful planning, we were able to both preserve and showcase the theatrics around this pottery, while also creating something sustainable in many ways. The end result is a stunning display of color and texture, framed by terracotta pots nestled in a lush garden setting. The transformation has made the client very happy who responded saying that it was amazing how natural beauty mingled with art. This makes a beautiful entryway to the home, and the sanctuary getaway makes a great place to relax and hang out!
