Summary: Rifkin Residence - Palm Beach Gardens PARADELO BURGESS DESIGN STUDIO LLC, is honored to present the remarkable landscaping redesign of The Rifkin Residence that reflects the sophistication of modern tropical elegance, while also considering the functionality of the outdoor space to create beauty. The design process began with an analysis of the existing landscape, which was uninspiring and lacked cohesion and interest. We aimed to create an outdoor sanctuary, attractive in its natural setting in Palm Beach Gardens, to create a space with lush plantings, colorful flowers and sustainable elements. Some of the key elements of this included a beautiful installation of drought tolerant, native planting with beautiful, resilient plantings. We incorporated a selection of palmettos, colorful hibiscus, and fragrant jasmine to create an inviting multi-level garden that offers interest throughout the year. To create visual composition, we designed beautiful natural stone paths, guiding guest through the gardens secret spaces. Among the most notable challenges encountered was the slope of the property which required grading for drainage and to avoid soil erosion. Our hall of pro’s dealt with expertly designing a tiered garden bed, that not only dealt with drainage but also helped overcome the challenge of height with the addition of layers and tiered levels throughout. The final outcome is an incredibly beautiful oasis, in which the client can sit, relax, and entertain. The outdoor experience, with dedicated seating areas, features the sound of a thoughtfully constructed water feature to provide peace to the experience. The use of LED landscape lighting is enhancing to experience the property at night, by illuminating pathways and of the property. The Rifkin Residence’s landscape design and construction is a testament to ParadeLo Burgess Design Studio LLC’s creativity and craftsmanship. This has successfully fulfilled and exceeded the client’s request for both luxury and warmth that invites leisure and beauty into the new surroundings that truly represent Palm Beach living. Their attention to quality and detail has created a landscape that will provide lasting enjoyment through each season.
