Chester County Flagstone EG Rall Jr Landscape Design & Horticultural Services is proud to present our 'Chester County Flagstone' , a true example of our commitment to landscaping excellence in and around the Greater Philadelphia area, including Ambler, Ardmore, and Valley Forge. Our client had a poorly designed backyard space and we transformed it into a beautiful outdoor oasis that featured a dramatic natural flagstone. The focal point of this design is a large flagstone patio, using locally sourced, hand-selected natural stone that would work with the landscape. Each stone was laid with the intent to provide a rustic, yet sophisticated look while at the same time creating a durable feature. To enhance the patio, we added lush, drought-resistant plantings that include native perennials that would bloom throughout the seasons and provide a vibrant tapestry of colors. Some obstacles we encountered were related to the site's uneven topography and required grading and drainage solutions. Our experienced team was able to address any concerns standing water, erosion, and durability while maximizing usability, providing beautiful tiered space that flowed with the original topography. The was finished off with ambient lighting and custom seating areas for entertainment and usability. The final result exceeded the clients' expectations and provided a perfect setting for relaxation that combined the beauty of nature and a functional outdoor space welcoming family and friends alike to enjoy the outdoors year round!
