About This Project

The DeLeon Residence Landscape at The DeLeon Residence, located in scenic De Luz, Presented by McCabe's Nursery & Landscape Construction The outdoor spaces were the focal point of this entire re-imagination, the brief from the owners was to get as much real use out of beautiful outdoor spaces as possible. Plants included are designed to make use of local climate conditions to reduce water use, combining a mix of native and drought-tolerant species. An exquisite selection of succulent shrubs, flowering shrubs, and grasses now line the property, providing seasonal color and texture all year long. Together with natural stone pathways and custom-built retaining walls, the landscape is built to withstand the test of time while also looking good. The main obstacle the team encountered during the was the variation in the terrain, which needed to be graded and leveled so water could run freely and the tractor would not be impeded. Our adept team effectively handled these challenges, devising a complete drainage system that both safeguards the landscaping and complements the property design. To enhance the whole outdoors, we also introduced a calming water feature which acts as a centerpiece to the outdoor space, attracting local wildlife whilst providing a relaxing atmosphere for the residents. These, combined with well-situated outdoor lighting, allows the area to be used longer in the evening, creating an ideal space for gatherings and unwinding. At the end, the makeover at The DeLeon Residence blew away the clients' expectations. A sanctuary created by a purposeful design and quality woodwork and impeccable finishes.
