Bridges by Anderson Pond Design "We are excited this landscaping called “Bridges” by Anderson Pond Design that transformed outdoor living for this family in Bixby. Upper Tulsa is full of beautiful scenery, and this landscaping reflects our philosophy of quality and creativity. The ’s intent was to create a strong connection between the inside of the house and the life of the landscape by creating safe, beautiful walkways and gathering spaces. We fabricated and installed beautiful walk bridges made of high-quality natural stone and sustainably sourced wood that gracefully span low, meandering unfenced streams and operate effectively in the hill and valley landscape. One significant challenge was working with the uneven ground’s profile; great care and tech specs had to be taken to make them function and look good. Native plants with drought-resistant landscaping were a great addition because they added aesthetic charm yet remained ecologically sustainable. Bridges is a fantastic combination of nature and craftsmanship featuring flower beds in vibrant colors, textural rock formations, and hardscaping with seating arrangements that encourage relaxation and introspection. The client absolutely loved the and is overjoyed with what became an ideal backyard for their family to gather with each other or enjoy peaceful times for themselves.
