This incredible landscaping in the heart of Coachella Valley serves the nearby communities of Bermuda Dunes, Indian Wells, Indio, La Quinta, Palm Desert, Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage and Thousand Palms. Our design takes into consideration the unique desert location while still displaying the beauty and incredible resilience that desert plant materials can provide. We selected a variety of low-maintenance, drought-resistant plants. Agaves, succulents, and native desert wildflowers add color and texture to the and are appropriate plant selections for the environment. Natural stone pathways, gravel beds, and boulders not only look great, but provide drainage and promote water conservation. As with many s in the desert, the rocky soils and extreme heat presented challenges for installing plants and reducing irrigation requirements. Quality Green's team knows desert conditions will require extra planning. Determined to address these issues, we employed specialized equipment and learned techniques to prepare soils and install irrigation efficiently. The plants are now growing well with little human interaction, even in summer weather. Design features include easy seating areas for casual outdoor moments and weather-resistant furniture for larger parties. The same attention was paid to the design elements used for original lighting fixtures, pathways, and plants to create a magical feel as evening twilight sets. Overall, our client is thrilled and is now enjoying the outdoors in a beautifully landscaped desert oasis that reflects the desert quality of Quality Green Landscaping. This brings together quality and innovative desert style to provide our client with back yard space to enhance their outdoor experience.
