Summary: Yard Improvements in East Cobb by SHM Landscape At SHM Landscape we take great pride in designing quality outdoor living spaces, and our latest , "Yard Improvements @ East Cobb," is a great example of our commitment and creativity. Serving the communities of Alpharetta, Atlanta, Brookhaven, Buckhead, and more, we loved working with this homeowner to transform their yard into a beautiful outdoor retreat. The presented some design challenges based on some un-level (sloping) ground, and limited amounts of sunlight in some areas. Our talented designers set carefully developing a design plan to include raised garden beds and new hardscaping in logical positions to add functionality while also addressing the various sunsets. We specified quality materials such as natural stone for the patios and stepping stones. The landscaping plan featured a bold flower garden of native and other plants that would thrive in the ecosystem and local planting zone, use less water, improve the biodiversity, and also encourage returning fauna and flora year-round. We set up a custom irrigation system to maximize water efficiency. The completed created a beautiful area of lush landscape, tasteful hardscaping, and stunning outdoor spaces that welcomed the experience of experiencing the gardens. The client was thrilled with the transformation and remarked their yard was turning into a go-to gathering space for the family.
