The core of the landscape is an expansive multi-level patio composed of high quality natural stone that integrates with the existing views. The materials selected are durable, including pavers that stand up to weather and retaining walls that are attractive as well as functional for minimal maintenance. The Team had to address a number of challenges in implementing this landscape including an uneven elevation and water drainage. After extensive planning, an innovative design allowed for a gradual multi-level approach to create a drainage system that directs water away from the patio area. This diligence preserved the installation and assured the area is dry and usable throughout the year. To improve the experience of being outdoors, we incorporated layered landscaping elements including native plants & ornamental grasses to create texture in the landscape, and lighting to provide warmth and ambiance in the evening. We included a special fire pit and seating area certainly brings family and friends together after sunset, while the grill area built of natural stone allows for inviting culinary adventure outside. The final result is an aesthetically pleasing landscape that was unmatched in functionality.
