Polar Drive Landscaping by Texas Custom Turf Located in the scenic area of Austin, Texas Custom Turf can proudly state that we finished the ‘Polar Drive’ landscaping , a representation of quality and creativity with both! The depicted a variety of landscaping styles with multiple objectives that enhanced both beauty and function. The was blessed with a selection of native Texas plants selected for their beauty and durability. Drought tolerant perennials, flowering shrubs in a palette of colors, and ornamental grasses created a lushness and sustainability. A key highlight of the was the design and installation of a casual, meandering flagstone pathway with local stone that created a natural look and provided ease of access across the property. One of the significant challenges of this was a slop intended for yards which needed unique grading and drainage methods to avoid water runoff impacting plant success. Texas Custom Turf’s team responded by constructing a tiered garden bed system that promoted drainage, and planting space. Building in the tiered system provided PTG properties with visual variation, whimsy, and depth to the landscape. In order for the owner to enjoy the property and create an outdoor living area, a sitting area with seating, and a fire pit were created to enhance gatherings and relaxation. Superior eco-friendly pavers and natural stone create durability and an elegance design that compliments the surroundings. At the end of the , the outcome of ‘Polar Drive’ was an incredible landscape that was more than expected. The beauty and functionality of the outdoor space naturally flowed with the landscape and became an outdoor space for families and friends to retreat to enjoy the outside. We are proud to have achieved the expectations of our client, while providing additional charm to the area of Austin.
