Gallery of Design / Build by Martinson's Garden Works Martinson's Garden Works is excited to present the 'Design / Build Gallery,' a stunning landscape that took a backyard space from ordinary to extraordinary. Serving the communities of Brandon, Flowood, Jackson, Madison, Ridgeland, Canton, Clinton, and Vicksburg, the team took on this with pride in workmanship and passion for beautiful landscapes. This inherently combines hardscape (stone pathways and custom walls) with softscape (annual, perennial, and ornamental plants) plant material to create a vibrant pop of color every season of the year. The team also selected locally sourced, top-of-the-line and sustainable materials such as natural flagstone and native plant material. Unlike inferior materials sourced somewhere else, utilizing locally sourced materials enhanced the aesthetics of the build and gave peace of mind regarding sustainability and maintenance. One of the biggest obstacles the landscape team had to overcome was the existing topography/ topography of the client's property. The exceptional landscape team graded the land, then devised the design showing tiered landscaping. Not only is tiered landscaping visually appealing, but it also promotes drainage. The custom topography solved an existing drainage issue and maximized depth, allowing for lots of variety of plant material. The final is a stunning natural gallery which includes a water feature, fire pit and green plant material combination that enlivens the space so that it may be enjoyed by the client and their family and friends. The client stated that they could not have been more thrilled with how it turned out. They specifically mentioned the attention to detail, finishing touches, and the perfect blend of the landscape with the house. The final product became the highlight of family gatherings and outdoor entertaining.
