Container Gardening by Martinson's Garden Works Martinson’s Garden Works is excited to share the of another called "Container Gardening," which renews outdoor spaces in Brandon, Flowood, Jackson, Madison, Ridgeland, Canton, Clinton, and Vicksburg. This gardening is a stunning reflection of bringing to life several frequently used patios and balconies and the idea behind Container Gardening. The designing process began with an in-depth design consult that focused on the transformation the client envisioned for their outside spaces. We collected important site information that we considered as we researched the space and began establishing a set of parameters. This site information included: possible sun and wind exposure, sizing for outdoor furniture, and maintenance expectations, and our communications began to build a vision. For the , we organized high-quality, all-weather resistant materials, to make the appropriate selection of containers. The containers used in the included ceramic, metal, and eco-friendly composite containers. Every container was jointly selected and together, incorporated some aspect of the architecture to the home, which was the theme behind all the containers and plants. As with design work, there is the ongoing challenge of space usage and light conditions, which guides us in selecting our plants growing in it's appropriate environment. By adding in a mix of colorful annuals, perennial herbs, and lush foliage plants we were able to create dynamic combinations with their seasonal interest and culinary interest. In utilizing the ability to build into our garden with plants while building out appeal, we respected site and allowed for aesthetics layered with form and function to the design. The arrangement and plant selections attracted attention from pollinators and good bugs of all varieties with the benefit to local biodiversity. The color and green space brought each entry point to the home to life, and each space had its own unique qualities and combinations to sit in and retreat to personally all year long. The overall client satisfaction was evident at each stage and in witnessing our craftsmanship and design matters. Martinson's Garden Works continues to deliver exceptional landscaping and are very proud to have widened our client's experience in their container garden skills, all of which were completed in entertaining and welcoming spaces. Whether a busy urban setting or a quiet suburb, there is always a chance to enjoy the impact of container gardening outside.
