We were asked to create this beautiful backyard oasis for a client in the quaint communities of Keene, Lexington, Lexington-Fayette, Nicholasville, Georgetown, Paris, Winchester, and Richmond. Like many s, this one presented several unique challenges, primarily the significant slope of the lot and limited access to the site. Our teams were able to develop a custom multi-tiered design, beautifully integrating a stunning in-ground pool with lush multi-tiered and native landscaping. We were confident that using high-quality materials would yield the best results, so natural stone coping and a combination of textured non-slip tile around the pool area were selected to provide elegance and safety, based on our years of experience and recommendations for the type of setting. In addition to the pool, a colorful garden oasis was created with multiple native tar plants that thrive in this area, reflected on the overall sustainability and aesthetics of the . A decorative stone pathway was created from the pool area to the custom built pergola providing a shaded area for relaxation or entertaining. During construction there were several considerable weather-related delays. Our talented teams were not only dedicated to oversight of the , but they worked diligent to coordinate all of the while completing the as requested, on schedule, and with the quality and integrity synonymous with R W Thompson Landscaping. The final result was a stunning backyard sanctuary that exceeded, and alleviated, many of our client's concerns with the overall result, and we transformed the outdoor living space into an updated and luxurious escape.
