Flagstone Patio by Nature Perfect Landscape and Design Nature Perfect Landscape and Design is excited to unveil our most recent , a Flagstone Patio that we built for a loyal customer in Olympia. We created this beautiful patio with outdoor living in mind, providing a continuation of outdoor living into the surrounding natural elements and producing a peaceful retreat for family gatherings and leisure. Our team of skilled laborers utilized high-quality flagstone, which was locally and sustainably sourced, to create a large patio of various earthy tones and textures. The irregular shapes of the stones provide both contrast and a slip-resistant surface for entertaining family and friends throughout the year. One of the major challenges we had to face was the slope of the client’s back yard. We engineered a tiered design for the patio using subtle retaining walls that serve as understructure for the slope and provide touches of elegance in the overall aesthetic. We went out of our way to address drainage issues so that surface water would not reside, causing damage to the flagstone. We followed the flagstone patio with landscaping of perennials and low-maintenance shrubs that complement and enhance the natural beauty of the patio. We also lit the patio with ambient lighting to create a cozy atmosphere for evening gatherings. The ultimate result is a beautiful outdoor area that exceeded our client’s desires with the perfect shadow of function and beauty. The Flagstone Patio area has allowed our client to have the centerpiece of their garden and embodies the quality craftsmanship we represent at Nature Perfect Landscape and Design.
