Rose Garden Design and Consulting by The JCRD Group The JCRD Group is thrilled to announce our latest design, Rose Garden Design and Consulting, to enhance the outdoor space for an upscale client in Beverly Hills. This aligns with our commitment to quality work and cutting-edge landscaping, not just in Beverly Hills, but the surrounding communities, including Bel Air, Santa Monica, and Woodland Hills. Our design process began with a consultation to discuss the client’s dream of a beautiful, peaceful garden that would be a private escape. After visiting and assessing the specific site, a diverse palette of roses was selected, which included classic options, such as hybrid teas and floribundas, and rarer, aromatic heirloom roses to ensure blooms and fragrances all year long. To heighten the aesthetic experience of the garden, high quality materials were included, such as natural stone walking pathways and handcrafted wrought iron trellises that could support climbing roses. Decorative gravel beds and organic mulch also introduced terrace beds, which were not only visually appealing, but would aid in moisture retention and weed control, important considerations for blooms in California. One of the unique challenges for this was the slope of the site, which we made into a cascading garden design. This opened the door to additional drainage solutions, with terraced beds that allowed a series of cascading water management. Additionally, a drip irrigation system was installed to ensure efficiency and healthy plant material. Ultimately, this design created an extraordinary rose garden full of life, color, and fragrance that creates an ideal backdrop for gathering. The result provides the client with a thoughtfully curated garden-design experience with unprecedented color, texture, and fragrance, exceeding every expectation for a small backyard retreat.
