PRIVATE GARDEN - DEAL, NJ INFO Transforming this private garden in Deal, NJ is a Kale's Nursery & Lands is proud to once again showcase in a display of our commitment towards quality craftsmanship and innovative design. This large outdoor space was imagined as a peaceful escape, balancing natural elements with practical landscaping features. With the starting with a thorough analysis of the site, we were able to uncover some of the specific site challenges such as how uneven the existing terrain was and potential drain issue. We designed a garden in tiers to help alleviate this issue and to add to the aesthetics of the garden as well. Using local stone, we built retaining walls to last, that blended into the landscape with the help of our skilled crew. By using native plantings, we are able to create a colorful palette that emerges in the spring, fills in for the summer months, and carries the garden into winter with little to no maintenance. This property is complemented by a large lawn area ideal for leisure, flower beds and ornamental shrubs that lead the eye and give texture and depth to the house. Flagstone pavers create a winding garden pathway that opens to a small sitting nook underneath an oak tree; the perfect spot to unwind. They finished it with ambient lighting, so that at night, the garden would be filled with interestingly lit features, and the garden would become a special place to retreat to. We made sure we pay attention to each detail, so the result is a perfect combination between design and functionality. When it was finished, the homeowner was ecstatic their new outdoor space and called it an oasis way beyond their expectation. The added real value to the property, but created a permanent environment for family get togethers and quiet contemplation.
