The main aim for this was to convert a neglected outdoor area into those that draws your attention, making it easy to unwind and unwind. This pergola is made out of quality pressure-treated cedar which ensures great woodwork with lots of intricate pieces that hold up to the elements. This covered terrace also has a retractable awning you can pull out, so the homeowners can make use of the terrace either in the sun or in the shade. We needed to integrate the pergola into the existing landscape and one of our major concerns was how to keep the flow of the garden a natural flow from one space to another. We carefully chose plantings that work in concert with the structure, including climbing vines and flowering shrubs that will bring seasonal blooms and fullness. This culminates in an elegant mixture of both form and function, a space that serves as a communal area for outdoor gatherings or an individual escape for contemplation. Our clients were absolutely overjoyed with the results, and said their yard transformed from a place for their dogs to do their business to the star of the showexactly the backyard escape they had always dreamed of!
