Summary: Elkridge Fire Pit and Patio by Honeysuckle Nursery & Design Located in Elkridge, the Fire Pit and Patio by Honeysuckle Nursery & Design created a lovely outdoor space out of a simple backyard. The team worked with clients located throughout Annapolis, Crofton, and all over, to design a space that fit their desires and vision while considering function and style. The began with assessing the site to determine where to place the patio and fire pit. Our designers selected the materials, which consisted of weathered materials, such as natural stone pavers for the patio and rustic flagstone around the fire pit. The patio and fire pit provide a beautiful contrast with the landscape and surrounding greenery. A particular challenge of the site was the uneven grade, which the team had to propose adjustments for grading as well as water drainage. The Honeysuckle Nursery & Design team also ensured proposed layouts met client expectations as well as the functional concern of water runoff and accessibility. The fire pit is a center-piece of the and was designed as a utility gathering space for family and friends. The fire pit was built to be surround by comfortable seating and was finished with additional flowering plants and plant beds. This invites you to relax and enjoy when sitting around the fire.
