Vibrant Plantings The completed , called Vibrant Plantings in Ann Arbor, is yet another fine example of our dedication to quality landscaping and thoughtful design, by Land Architects, Inc. The included the detailed planning and establishment of a variety of locally sourced plants that has resulted in a green and welcoming space for people and the environment to utilise together in line with the local environment. There were a number of challenges brought to us, including poor soil conditions and lack of sunlight in certain areas of the property. To rectify these obstacles, we went through a detailed soil remediation process where the earth was fertilized with rich organic compost and fertilizers that allow plants to thrive. Additionally, we chose shade- and drought-tolerant plants and ensured that ever species was well adapted to the specific microclimate where it was planted. Here, a combination of bold perennials, ornamental grasses, and shrubs are used together in such a way that provides seasonal interest as well as contrast. Natural stone paths and decorative gravel make way through the colorful landscape, offering both visual appeal and functional access. In addition we added a rain garden on site to address stormwater runoff and provide habitat for local wildlife in an environmentally sustainable manner. The end result; a magical garden that both displays beautiful plants but becomes a support system for the local fauna. The client was thrilled with the results, happy that their outdoor space turned out to be a flawless blend of form and function.
