This highlights the high quality work of Michael Therrien Landscaping, LLC. and was completed in decent little Bedford. With native selections coupled with other colorful and textural plantings, the design portrays a rich and welcoming composition of perennials and grasses. The constructed path takes visitors to the front door using granite that is literally dug up down the road and at night the textures of the path and plantings are featured in dramatic accent lighting. Given the hopping landscape of the property with a fair amount of slope, we had to get creative with the grading to prevent water pooling when it rains here to maintain a functional garden. Our team had to install an almost invisible buried drain to ensure the plants remain healthy and the home stays protected against potential water damage. We raised the design level by introducing a respectful composition of parimeter shrubbery that flowers all year, and a period picket fence for some New England charm. It is a beautiful front garden that adds to the aesthetic of the house but also shows off the hobbies of the residents of the house. Needless to say, our client was thrilled with the results, stating that the “new landscape was not only more aesthetic pleasing, but they were also able to enjoy their home more than before.
