The Traditional Front Yard we recently completed is just one such case of our dedication to quality craftsmanship and design excellence for our communities of Amherst, Auburn, Bedford, Goffstown and beyond. This was a with the intention of developing a front yard that feels warm, welcoming and speaks the architectural language of the home. Since this was classic style residential architecture, we introduced appropriate landscapingformal, clipped boxwood hedges, seasonal flower beds, and a cobblestone walk. Made of stone native to the property, the rustic yet refined walkway leads visitors to the front door. The land that the property occupied was sloped and created some unique grading to be expected to tie in drainage with a punch. Using a natural stone for the retaining walls our experienced team utilized for stabilizing the soil whilst creating beauty. Cleverly concealed behind lush perennial plantings, the walls eased the transition of levels, improving the site. In keeping with the simplicity of the tradition theme, we chose our colors to fit into the backdrop too: soft whites, a range of greens from deep to light, and then a few flowering plants to sprinkle in color (the hydrangeas and day lilies were in bloom). This lovely composition minimizes visual distractions while also incorporating evergreens to provide four-season interest during the winter months. End result is a beautiful front in yard that is now a very usable space that the family enjoys. They were ecstatic with the turn around, and that the landscaping perfectly matched their personality while at the same time, increasing the value of their property.
