Trew Auto Body Landscaping by Brookside Landscape and Design Brookside Landscape and Design is proud to share that we completed a transformative landscaping for Trew Auto Body, located in the heart of Port Orchard! This not only beautified the auto body shop, but it created a warm and inviting outdoor space for customers and staff to enjoy! Our design team took a whole systems approach by utilizing native plants that thrive in the Kitsap Peninsula climate, which requires less maintenance, and support biodiversity locally. Beautiful stone walkways made of locally sourced flagstone meander through the property to lead visitors to the entry, creating a welcoming experience. A beautiful water feature with a small pond and waterfall can be viewed from an outdoor sitting area, which creates a "zen" space in the hustle and bustle of an auto body shop! One of the biggest challenges of this is the slope of the property, which required creative strategies for managing drainage and erosion. Our team utilized natural boulders to design retaining walls that also created tiered planting beds to stabilize the slope of the property and looked great to boot! Drought tolerant plants, such as lavender and ornamental grasses were chosen to create sensibly sustained landscapes that are low maintenance and require less water. To create a vibrant color palette, seasonal flowers and lush green plants were incorporated to provide blooms throughout the year. The result creates a functional and beautiful exterior that included seating for resting and breaks for the staff that promotes a positive energy for customers and staff alike! Trew Body Auto now has a beautiful exterior that reflects the commitment to high quality exterior service of the business. Brookside Landscape and Design was able to turn challenges into opportunities showcasing all of the aesthetic goals for this , turning one of initial difficult sites into a landscape that will be enjoyed for years to come, for the business and the client alike.
