Silverdale Landscape by Brookside Landscape and Design In the beautiful community of Silverdale, the Silverdale Landscape by Brookside Landscape and Design successfully demonstrates a marriage of art and function to elevate outdoor living to a new level. Serving the lovely surroundings of Bainbridge Island, Bremerton, and beyond, our talented team was able to change this outdoor space into a beautiful oasis that reflects the natural environment of the Pacific Northwest. The included a complicated design of native plantings, sustainable materials and functional hardscaping. We used a variety of native plant materials in many colors, including rhododendrons, ferns, and ornamental grasses to create a landscape that showed off unparalleled beauty throughout the year while increasing ecological resilience. The fire pit was one of the most popular features that were built out of locally sourced stone, and the pavers were durable granite used to hold the patio space together to allow for gatherings with friends and family in a special space outside. One of the main challenges we encountered was the unevenness of the land and managing drainage to avoid pooling water. Our skillful team painstakingly dealt with grading and drainage so the land would meet the aesthetic we all desired but function flawlessly. We also added a rain garden to manage storm water runoff. The end product delighted our clients, and it melded beautifully into the surrounding landscape to create a peaceful retreat that will be enjoyed for years to come. Completing the Silverdale Landscape showed Brookside Landscape and Design's commitment to quality craftsmanship, solving problems creatively, and customer satisfaction with every attention to detail.
