About This Project

Sargent's Gardens A Touch of Tuscany + Show More Located in the rolling hills of Rochester, Minnesota, the 'A Touch of Tuscany' by Sargent's Gardens converted an uninspired backyard into a beautiful Italian inspired refuge. And of course, our team, which serves Elgin, Eyota, Hammond, Millville, Oronoco, Zumbro Falls, Byron, Stewartville, St. Charles, and the greater Olmsted County area, jumped into this challenge with creativity and know-how. The was designed with great consideration and was composed of terracotta pavers, aged stone walls and a lush Mediterranean planting palette of lavender, rosemary, and cultivar olive trees selected specifically for our climate. A gentle fountain, along with other water features, were included in the design to give a pleasant sound environment, along with bringing wildlife habitat. Moving the uneven ground around without ruining the natural landscape has to be one of the biggest hurdles. We employed advanced grading techniques and boulders to create tiered areas for planting, allowing the areas to drain while creating a beautiful presence. The result is an effortless blend of hardscaping and softscaping that invites lounging and entertains the idea of hanging out. Seeing the final reveal put our clients over the moon with their new outdoor living area! Now, they can dine outside beneath a quaint pergola, which is draped in climbing vines, in the embrace of their Tuscan-inspired garden. A Touch of Tuscany is merely one demonstration of Sargent's Gardens dedication to expert craftsmanship, creative or not, and above all, happy customers.
