Apache Mall LandscapingCLIENT: Sargent's Gardens SARGENT'S GARDENS "APACHE MALL LANDSCAPE" Only time will tell whether this beautiful metamorphosis remains within the core of Rochester, MN. As part of this expansive effort, the exterior of the mall was beautified with landscaping while providing areas for shoppers and visitors to enjoy. Our designers crafted a comprehensive plan that included ample greenery, colorful borders of flowering beds, and useful hardscaping features. Central to the was a series of custom site stone pathways created with locally sourced limestone that meandered through carefully arranged gardens. Both pathways lead visitors, but as fast durable and aesthetic walkways. We chose a variety of native plants that include ornamental grasses, perennials and flowering shrubs that bear seasonal interest, all of which will thrive in the climate so that the garden will be attractive every season. This decision links back to ecosystems as they are not only desirable, but it also helps the sustainability of those plants whilst attracting local pollinators. Site drainage in some regions was one of the biggest challenges dealt with in the course of the . Our skilled team devised an advanced drainage system without compromising the design of the landscape around it. However, this facilitated effective water management without compromising the aesthetics of the as a whole. The end product is a coherent, colorful landscape that enhances the architectural elements of the mall. This metamorphosis has given it a friendly face, seducing shoppers to hang out and get comfortable. The feedback we have received from both clients and visitors has been fantastic, perfectly matching the same high level of craftsmanship and detail that is representative of Sargent's Gardens.
