Located in beautiful Newport Beach, this includes an intricate combination of hardscape and softscape aspects that support outdoor living and integrate the natural aspects of the property. In the beginning, our process started with a detailed stone patio made with locally sourced flagstone. This durable stone was selected for both its durability and aesthetic considerations. As part of a welcoming setting, our design included a custom outdoor fireplace for enjoyment on starry nights, coupled with a winding path featuring vibrant drought tolerant colored plants, specifically planned for nature sustainability and color all year round. One of our principal compromises occurred due to the property’s sloped site conditions. To address the issue, Rescom Landscaping, Inc. creatively solved the challenges of elevation with terracing techniques that involved all aspects of planed areas (decks, pathways, etc) having a unique style that visually displays a functional and user-friendly transition from different sections of the front and back yard. The walls are using naturally obtained stone structures that provide aesthetic, structural, and an organic feel. In addition to the plans already accomplished, we integrated different native plant types, along with low maintenance shrubs that were unified by a seasonal interest and an attraction for wildlife. We concluded the with energy-efficient LED lights for night enjoyment of the glowing landscape, providing a peaceful and inviting visual display. Paulk not only created a comfortable outdoor retreat but also met and exceeded our high standards of craftsmanship and detail at Rescom Landscaping, Inc.
