A Dramatic Brea Residence Hardscape and Softscape: A highly compelling mixture of hardscape and softscape was designed to take advantage of the beauty of the home architecture. We worked with our team to design natural stone path ways which lead to a warm patio space with a locally crafted fire pit ideal for family events or entertaining guests. In addition to creating more eye-catching feature, the eco-friendly permeable pavers are a more sustainable way to manage waters. The property had a severe slope, which needed to be graded with creativity, to then create a multi-level garden that is functional and ascetically pleasing. We curated a wide selections of drought tolerant species, which include native California plants, that grow well in the local climate and consume less water. This option not only contributes to environmental sustainability, but also results in colorful seasonal displays that can vary throughout the year. An effective irrigation system makes certain that each plant will have the right treatment within the right moment,whilst low-voltage LED lighting illuminates the characteristics of the landscape during the night, lighting pathways and highlighting the luxuriant plant life. The end result is stunning and completely surpassed what we envisioned for this landscape with our client. The Brea Residence is now a sanctuary and brings together beauty and utility in a manner that produces an elevated quality of life.
