In Shawnee, you'll find the is a great example of our commitment to quality craftsmanship and landscape development. The goal of the was to establish a natural barrier for privacy while maintaining a stunning quality of the natural / developed outdoor. Our team selected a mixture of evergreen trees; Emerald Green Arborvitae and Eastern Red Cedar. Trees provide 365 days of privacy and strength to withstand the climate of the region. We added ornamental grasses and flowering shrubs to provide texture to the setting and provide additional color as the seasons change. One of the greatest challenges we encountered with the was the slope of the property. The yard fell off at different rates requiring careful planning and execution, and ultimately some really creative thinking. Our talented crews utilized natural stone retaining walls to create terraces to stabilize our plantings and provide visual interest and progression. This also allowed us to utilize the space as efficiently as possible, while maintaining a natural grade to the space. The overall effect of this creates a beautiful screen for privacy and an incredibly valuable anchor within the client's outdoor experience. The combination of colors and textures creates a serene setting that draws people in whether to relax or entertain. Our client absolutely loved the outcome of the and shared how much of a positive impact the would make to their outdoor experience for many years.
