We began the by engaging and working with the community of Lacey, Olympia, Tumwater, and Thurston County to reimagine a considerable expanse of property into a magnificent outdoor oasis. The progression of the began with a complete examination of the site surrounding the property to ascertain the land's specific, unique topography, and natural features. Our talented team of professionals thoughtfully devised a plan that best suited the striking waterfront views while being cognizant of the preservation of existing native plant species. The included a multi-level deck, made of imported ipe wood from South America, providing the perfect locale for outdoor events. Surrounding the deck, we implemented a native plant, ornamental grasses and shrub pavilion that would imbue spectacular aesthetics year-round while achieving biodiversity outcomes. There were challenges with site grades and existing drainage at various elevations. Our landscape installation team reengineered a sophisticated drainage system including permeable pavers as part of an eco-friendly solution that absorbs water, and mitigates erosion, to ensure the sustainability of the . We also included a natural stone path that goes throughout the garden beds and yard intended to look as it should be. The stones intentionally lead guests through dazzling colors and aromas of blooms and herbs, exhibiting respective seasons. The result is a magnificent sanctuary responding to its seasonal landscape elements and mortar to organic aestheticism mapped in the genius and meticulous craft of the designers and builders.
