Landscape Front Yard by Exterior Designs Landscape Exterior Designs Landscape recently finished this elegant front yard landscaping , taking this standard suburban parcel and creating an inviting and attractive entrance experience. We are honored to service the unique communities in and around Cardiff By The Sea, Carlsbad, Del Mar, La Jolla, and beyond with quality craftsmanship unique to each individual and the vision they have. The utilized a mixture of native plants that do not require extensive irrigation, arranged in such a way that it creates a fully indicative space that still feels rich. Incorporating several textures and colors with succulents, grasses and flowering perennials to provide year-round beauty. Incorporating high quality materials in the design, like locally sourced stone pavers to establish the path (and double as seating), and a custom wood arbor to act as a visual anchor and serve a practical purpose of shade, are elements that truly compliment these spaces. A few of the major challenges were the sloping land, so to prevent erosion whilst trying to get it looking appealing, it had to be planned & engineered. The challenge faced by our talented team was to break the slope in a way that not only corrected this problem, but also provided some character to the landscape with tiered planting beds and strategically located retaining walls. The end product was beautiful curb appeal in the front yard, building upon what was already there, and making the front yard an inviting space for the home owners and their guests. The happy client complimented us on our detail work and how well we blended hardscaping and landscaping. We made the whole process smooth from design consultation stage to the finishing touches stage, something that surprised him a bit.
