Sited in one of the most beautiful coastal regions of California, the Del Sur was one that needed a well-crafted and executed plan to elevate the enjoyment of outdoor life for our clients. The design is a symphony of native California plants, carefully selected to flourish in the environment with little or no upkeep. A beautiful array of drought-tolerant plants from colorful succulents to ornamental grasses provides year-round garden interest and continues to implement a sustainable landscape. Natural stone pathways and patios create life and incorporate local materials to help blend the landscape into the existing architecture. Very few challenges in building a new home are ever simple to overcome, but that was indeed the main challenge we faced a not so viable land coupled with a lot of land slope required us to be a bit creative with the grading to create spaces to be used for either entertaining or relaxation. Our team expertly navigated these challenges by building terraced gardens to help make this property visually appealing and level for outdoor reception and arrangement events. The end result is an impressive outdoor sanctuary including an expansive entertainment area with a purpose-built fire pit, ideal for family and friends to congregate. Harmonious with the landscape a placid water feature brings serenity to the atmosphere as well as local wildlife. The work accomplished on Del Sur significantly beautified and enhanced the value of the property. Needless to write our clients were satisfied with the result where the attention to detail and the integration of design were praised.
