Several outdoor spaces were designed and installed in Antioch, Belle Meade, Berry Hill, Brentwood, Forest Hills, Franklin, Goodlettsville, Nashville, and Oak Hill. This work was completed in the spirit of providing quality craftsmanship combined with design character. The Greathouse Company LLC developed beautiful landscapes, especially in terms of an engaging use of native animals and plantings, flower beds, and hardscaping accents. Each space was designed with quality materials such as locally sourced stone for patios and walkways that contributed to character, but also durability and usefulness through the seasonal shifts of the Tennessee climate. Eco-friendly mulches were used to dress edible and drought tolerate plants, ultimately helping to promote sustainable gardening whether it be for ecosystem services, reducing water, or simply aesthetic. During the installation of the landscapes, we encountered various soil conditions and existing drainage issues. However, the team was able to address this issue with innovative solutions such as French drains and raised beds for water management and soil health. While these changes were meant to address existing conditions, they also opened up an avenue for thriving gardens. The final product transformed the outdoor space to a stunning oasis. The seating areas provided space for gatherings, while the flower beds provided color and cultivated flowers. The attention given to in the landscape provided connection and continued engagement with the house query to the property in both style and texture. The residents also communicated their thoughts the overall designs, emphasizing strong character, saturation of the garden, and being proud of the process.
