Pastaria at OneCity The Greathouse Company LLC was pleased to complete this beautiful landscaping for Pastaria at OneCity, a lively food and drink venue in the heart of Nashville. This endeavor included a mixture of aesthetics and function to create the best possible experience for customers and highlighted the restaurant's Italian influences. The exterior space that our team created was intended to be open and welcoming, with greenery, flowers, and hardscape elements. All materials were sourced locally, including stone for the patio and walkways, which created a durable and natural look, and provided a connection to the surrounding buildings. We also used local native plants that would thrive and meet our desire for sustainability. One of the biggest challenges we faced was the steep slope of the site, which required some ingenuity and crafty grading to make sure the ground was level to install the patio and seating area. Our team worked hard to create appropriate drainage, preventing water from pooling and extending the life of the landscape. The end result was a beautiful outdoor space with cozy areas to sit, a kitchen herb garden, and lighting to make the space magical at night. Client feedback has been very positive; many have observed that the restaurant's experience is greatly improved with the landscape, where nature and cooking create a synergy.
