This impressive Before & After really comes to life in the quality of our work and transformation, enhancing both the beauty of our clients' back yard and functionality of lighting. We started with a detailed site analysis, discovering the potential of the landscape inherent to its different characteristics. We included a variety of native plantings from flowering perennials to ornamental grasses, as well as shrubs to produce a vibrant and lush environment. Using hardy, climate-appropriate plants that provide year-round visual interest, we focused on sustainable practices and green solutions. A notable feature of the is a stone path built by hand, from local bluestone. The material not only complements the design but also offers strength to endure the climatic conditions of the region. The walkway weaves through the garden and opens up to a comfortable sitting area with tasteful outdoor furniture, ideal for resting and socializing. Light had a significant part to play in the beauty of the landscape after dark. We worked with our team to install energy-efficient LED fixtures that highlight the massive oak trees and well-planned flower beds. The subtle lighting emphasizes the textures and colors of the plants, creating an almost enchanted look for evening enjoyment. From the uneven surface to drainage problems, the came with its hurdles. The talented team we have utilizes some creative solutions like most notably: a specially designed French drain system that moves the water runoff away from the elements of landscaping so they function effectively for a long time. The outcome is a stunning outdoor paradise that addresses the usability the client requested, but also provides a large increase in beauty to their home. The homeowner was thrilled to see how well nature and design can play hand in hand as Artscape Land Design got to work, bringing their vision to life.
