: STONE STEPS BY HACKMAN LAWN & LANDSCAPE We are very proud to feature the Stone Steps for one of our clientele in beautiful Chesterfield - Hackman Lawn & Landscape AbstractThis landscaping was intended to build a decorative low-level transition from the home to the surrounding green landscape, making the most of its style and function. Exceptionally constructed of natural stone, the steps were selected for both their long-lasting nature and for their compatibility with existing landscape elements on the property. To achieve an organic look that blends in well with the surroundings, our team used locally sourced flagstone with its natural variations in color and texture. Every one of them is carefully leveled and will be permanently anchored in with gravel for many years. The extremely steep topography of the site was among the major challenges encountered throughout the course of this . These skilled landscapers followed a careful grading plan while also using the same natural stone to build various structural retaining walls but also used to beautify the design as a whole. Not only did this solution provide a creative approach to address the elevation issue, but it provided additional depth and dimension to the landscape as well. What you end up with is a truly stunning staircase that entices visitors to an oasis in the backyard. The stone steps transformed into a centerpiece and greeted all who approach, adorned with perennial gardens and soft lighting. The client was delighted by the transformation, saying, "The new steps fit in beautifully with the garden and give a lovely entrance to our garden oasis!"
