Commercial Planting for Valley Deck & Patio Valley Deck and Patio is excited to announce our latest commercial planting , for a prominent client situated in the heart of Columbia. This was ambitious and aimed at bringing back to life a busy corporate landscape - both functionally and aesthetically. Each selection of native plants was chosen for toughness and low maintenance characteristics. There were beautiful perennial flowers, grasses, and a few strategically placed shrubs. Our team used quality organic soil amendments to create quality plants for growth, and a drip irrigation system which is more efficient and sustainable and also addresses the ever-changing climate in the area. One of the largest obstacles was that the site was not flat. Our landscape architects planned and designed tiered planting beds that leveled the site while also creating depth and interest. The natural stone borders on the beds provided definition as well as some structural attributes. The result was an instant transformation from dreary, flat, grass into an inviting landscape full of welcoming greens. The new landscaping not only improves the property's curb appeal, but also creates an environment that brings value, wellness and tranquility to employees and visitors. Our client was very pleased with the results and equally important, the new exterior landscaping reinforces their commitment to offering sustainability and beauty in the work they do, while creating and setting an inviting atmosphere.
