Severn Patio Backyard with New Fence Valley Deck & Patio is excited the recent makeover of a backyard in Severn, Maryland. We designed a gorgeous outdoor space for our clientsa formerly neglected section of their house. The new patio and beautiful landscaping move the space from abandoned wilderness to clean-lined and aesthetically pleasing entertaining. The focal point of the backyard is a carefully designed patio area, made from only the best and most long-lasting pavers that all blend into the backyard’s natural beauty in color and texture. The dark warm earth tones of the stones insulate the backyard and contrast beautifully with the vibrant green landscaping. To enhance our client’s entertainment space, we designed a gorgeous stone fire pit, allowing our clients to sit outside in the evenings safely. To give our clients privacy, we installed a unique and custom-built wooden fence constructed of quality cedarwood. The cedarwood adds an attractive border to the backyard and will resist the elements far better than lesser materials. We also designed the fence to be stylish and functional, with integrated latticework to separate the yard while adding wonderful detail that upholds airflow and light. Another challenge was the grade of the backyard, which was uneven. Our experts graded land for proper draining and a level patio once we arrived on-site. After grading the backyard to perfection, we could finally guarantee that our clients enjoyed their space free of pooling water or erosion. The result is a well-balanced mix of aesthetics and utility, where our clients can invite friends over or relax quietly in their own serene setting. The patio with accompanying fire pit and tasteful fencing transformed their backyard alternate-from-home environment entirely.
