The Beautiful Patio and Walkway Addition presented by Creative Landscapes, Inc is a contemporary, outdoor improvement, adding function and beauty for our clients who live in Garden City, Murrells Inlet, Myrtle Beach, Pawleys Island, Socastee, Surfside Beach, and Georgetown. As we sought to create an inviting outdoor area that connected the backyard to the surrounding landscape, we developed a spacious patio using heavy-duty pavers that look like natural stone, are durable, and easy to maintain. The colors are warm earth tones and coordinate nicely with the coastal setting. This patio is perfect for entertaining family or enjoying a quiet evening under the stars. A stunning walkway was also an important element of this . The walkway meanders through the garden to more notable transitions for guests, from the patio to a flower bed and a water feature. The walkway is built with the same pavers and is designed with soft curves to create visual interest and welcome guests to wander through the area with a natural path. We realized along the way to creating this that there was uneven terrain, which became one of our grading and drainage challenges within the area to ensure the longevity of the hardscape surfaces. As we navigated through the water management strategy, the patio and walkway came to life and improved function while sustaining the landscape. The outcome is an outdoor living area that is aesthetically pleasing. The space includes seating areas, vibrant plantings, and hardscape and softscapes that are inviting and provide a destination to relax. It is designed to accommodate family gatherings as well as small and romantic evenings. We have delivered an outdoor space that our clients are proud of and enjoy sharing the experience with family and friends.
