Pool with Water Feature by TotalScape Design TotalScape Design takes pride in our 'Pool with Water Feature' ; an aesthetically pleasing transformation that improves not only the backyard aesthetics but also the footprint of the entire outdoor experience for our clients in Fort Lauderdale, South Florida, and beyond. This features a beautiful pool that is generously sized and a playful water feature that serves as both a striking built-in and soothing element. The design process started with a thorough consultation, allowing Tom and me as the designers, to learn more the clients' objectives, vision, and lifestyle needs. The modern pool we developed "sits" within finite lines that enhance the outdoor experience. The surrounding patio is capped with natural stone coping, which gives the impression of being in the seaside setting of Boca Raton and Deerfield Beach. The smooth pebble finish reflects the sun's rays in unique and luxurious ways. The water feature, which cascades over well-positioned boulders in a warm contemporary waterfall design, not only enhances the outdoor experience but also creates a natural backdrop with pleasant sounds of flowing water. In constructing the we made the highest quality materials a priority; we use durable and weather friendly stones and tiles that work well in the coastal landscape, while ensuring longevity in the outdoor environments and require minimal upkeep and care. Unfortunately, the design and landscape incurred some minor challenges leading to constraints with the land, which led to curves in the design but ultimately worked out very well; the design also included grade height differences of 4 -10 feet which was minor given the premium we placed in meeting the clients' vision and our innovative landscape in working around the condition of the land. The outcome of the is gorgeous. The whole overall pool area and landscape gives the impression of being in a coastal resort, surrounded by lush tropical plants and placed to stagger the view without separation. The LED lighting of the water feature in the evening creates a contrast between the two features and practical uses for entertaining and manipulate the space for evenings of star gazing. Our clients were very happy with the level of detail put into the design and execution. Where the appreciation for our work was clear throughout our time with them.
