Our crew took on a challenging job of stabilizing a steep slope and improving the aesthetic value to the property to serve the communities of Bausman, Brownstown, Columbia and beyond. Using locally solar boulders and employing our skilled craftsman a sturdy retaining wall was built that not only prevents soil erosion but also serves a very beautiful background for your neighbouring garden. Complementing the natural textures and colour of the boulders with similar lush greenery, provides for an integration which is blending into the context. One of the challenges we faced during the was due to the uneven ground and variable soil conditions, which demanded innovative engineering solutions to ensure the wall would perform well and last long. Our team utilized proper drainage methodologies, installing weep holes and gravel backfill to allow water to properly flow with or away from the wall to keep it sound for years. At the end it was a gem that covered the needs of the customer, and a bit more. Now the Boulder Retaining Wall is both a support feature and an accent one in the outdoor space. This was finished on time and within budget, The attention to detail and quality of work left the customer very happy in the surrounding areas of Mount joy, Lititz, and Elizabethtown.
