Bluebell by Newton Landscape Group Located in the heart of Shenandoah, the 'Bluebell' is a beautiful example of the artistry and expertise of the Newton Landscape Group. This wonderful renovation of a residential property includes the beauty of the natural world and great design, serving clients in Baker, Baton Rouge, Inniswold, Oak Hills Place, Old Jefferson, and Prairieville. We started by inspecting the existing landscaping, which included some difficult terrains and different amounts of sun in different areas of the yard. Through careful design and innovative solutions, we proposed a multi-tiered garden space, which optimizes space and light. In this space we incorporated native plants, including bluebells, as well as similar perennial species which are visually appealing and invite wildlife. The also included a truly sharp stone path, made from locally sourced granite, which guides users through their flourishing flora, while being durable and charming. In addition, we designed a custom built cedar pergola to enhance the backyard, which is a shaded outdoor eating area with climbing vines and fairy lights to enjoy when the sun sets. Attention to detail was very important, so we installed new features sustainably, while prioritizing eco-friendly materials. We ended with a beautiful, Earth-friendly landscape that represents their vision for their property, and exceeded their expectations. The 'Bluebell' not only enhances the livability of their home, but also elicits an improvement of the neighborhood as a whole, and represents the fine craftsmanship and dedication that the Newton Landscape Group is known for. The clients leave with a beautiful outdoor area to relax and entertain, which represents high-end modern landscaping.
